Convention and Tradeshow Training

Teamsters' Local 631, Las Vegas, services the number one venue for conventions and tradeshows. We have one of the premier training programs in the country developed especially for the tradeshow and convention industry. Our journeymen are skilled tradesmen and professionals.

We have the first accredited and registered apprenticeship program in the United States which is registered with the State Apprenticeship Council and the Bureau of Apprenticeship Training, Department of Labor. We offer a complete classroom curriculum that has been registered with the Nevada State Industrial Education Department as well as hands on training. The training covers all aspects of the tradeshow industry from exhibit installation and dismantle to the handling of freight, as well as customer service.

We also offer classes in equipment certification, OSHA General Industry Safety class, and First Aid/CPR.

Journeymen can receive initial certifications as well as recertify on equipment and attend all the classes that are offered.

Our Training Trust is made up of representatives from both Union and Employers.
